First essentials – Shopping
We’ll leave you with a bottle of milk and some essentials, but if you need a big shop the nearest options are:
Local Mini-Market shop, just outside the Haven holidays site (continue down the main access road past the main entrance to Riviere Towans site). (1 minute drive or 5 mins walk)
Asda Hayle Harbour (6-7 minutes drive)
Lidl (4-5 minutes drive, or approx 20 minutes walk)
Marks and Spencer Hayle (5-6 minutes drive)
Further afield there is a Tesco in St Ives and a Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s in Penzance.
Online food ordering
Most major food retailers will deliver an on-line delivery to Rainbow chalet. Please ensure your delivery slot is after 5pm on the day of your arrival, and that you will be there to receive it. When booking an online delivery, please address it to G19 Rainbow, Riviere Towans, Hayle, TR27 5AF. Please include a mobile number which will be available and turned on.
If there is space to add additional information for the driver, you can add: “Enter the Riviere Towans site through the first access road you come to (before the main site entrance). Rainbow is the first chalet on the left hand side.”
