Although it’s only been early days for our little Rainbow, we’ve been working hard to provide our guests with a cosy base to create some special memories.

We have just spent an amazing week at Rainbow. From the moment we stepped in the door it felt very homely. All the little welcoming touches were very much appreciated. The chalet was spotless and we felt very safe staying here. This was a perfect spot to explore feom the beach is just a 5 minute walk away and is absolutely breathtaking. There is a lovely pub called The Bucket of Blood near by which was very friendly. There is also a fab fish and chip shop within walking distance which my husband particularly enjoyed. Liz was so helpful feom start to finish and even went out of her way when we got a little lost close to Rainbow, mainly because I am rubbish at reading directions. I can honestly say there was absolutely nothing negative I could comment on. Thank you Liz we very much look forward to visiting your beautiful spot again

Absolutely stunning location, so peaceful and quiet! The rainbow Beach Chalet is perfect, lovely comfy beds, shower room and kitchen all set up. Local shops/ pubs/ beaches. A bus ride away to st Ives, I would highly recommend staying here. Liz has been so kind and helpful throughout our stay and answered all my questions and given us Great tips. I just love it here, what I like the most is the fact the chalet is located perfectly and is very quiet and peaceful! I would certainly come back and visit many times! Dog friendly which is an absolute priority.

Thank you for our lovely stay at Rainbow. Such a cosy chalet to come back to after a day out. Everything we needed was already there and the site is clean and well maintained. Fantastic communication from Liz and well thought out information provided. The location was fantastic in that you are close enough by car to most attractions and I was blown away by the beautiful beach in Hayle that looked stunning even in the greyest rainy days. Simply wonderful!

Stayed In this gorgeous little chalet for two weeks in July with my dog and two daughters, so cosy and quiet, and the owners are so lovely and accomadating, we will be staying again ❤️

We had the most wonderful May bank holiday weekend break at Rainbow Beach Chalet, Cornwall. The chalet was fantastic and had all the home comforts needed. Our children fell in love with it and didn’t want to leave. The dog bowl and dog treats were a lovely touch and the chalet provided everything we needed and more. The stunning Hayle beach is within easy walking distance and really does need to be seen to be believed. We had a lovely couple of meals at The Bluff Inn overlooking the stunning scenery and enjoyed drinking our morning coffees in the chalet’s garden in the sunshine. A wonderful place that we will be recommending to all our friends and family.

We have just returned home from a week in Rainbow, it’s a beautiful little chalet with everything you need and more. The location is amazing and surrounded by the most stunning beaches that are just a few minutes walk away. The owners have made every effort to ensure that the chalet is covid safe, it’s clean and homely and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for having us 🌈

I have been visiting Hayle for annual holidays for pretty much my whole life and Rainbow is without a doubt my favourite place I’ve stayed. It’s location is absolutely perfect ……… I Have now stayed at Rainbow twice and have no doubts I will be visiting again!

Rainbow Chalet is such a cosy chalet. Very clean and comfortable. Liz the host was extremely helpful with everything we needed. Fantastic location to beach pubs and shops, walking distance. A sanctuary in the heart of Cornwall.

Thank you so much such a beautiful place and so close to the most beautiful beach around there. We all enjoyed it and it’s the best place you can possibly imagine for dog as well. The beach hut was warm even when we had two more chilly days. Liz is an amazing host who was there for us any time I had a question and needed advice or any help. We are already booked to come again. Rainbow Chalet is a fabulous little gem myself & friend stayed here a few weeks ago we were greeted with a yummy Cornish Cream Tea ….

Just back from a fabulous week away at the Rainbow Beach Chalet – it was a perfect in every way for us both and the dog especially the little treats on arrival that our Ben loved – the chalet was great clean and tidy and a fabulous base for touring around the coast – especially loved how close we were to the wonderful beach for our daily walks – would def be back again when availability allows and Liz as the host is so accommodating and kind and really ensures that your holiday is the best – thank you Liz

Just had a wonderful 2 week stay at rainbow, the chalet was perfect, everything you need for a relaxing holiday, liz couldn’t do more for you, loads of advise of things to see& do, beautiful location, beaches to die for, will know dout be back in the future

Magical place. Very well equipped chalet only walking distance to the most beautiful and longest sandy beach in Cornwall ( 3 miles of golden sands :), turquoise waters and exceptional views. If you have a pet that loves beach like our dog don’t hesitate because you won’t find any better place and beach for them to enjoy. We literally stayed on the beach till 7pm ( really not overcrowded like everywhere else especially in August ) The nearby pub has the most amazing views of the bay, beach and it’s perfect to watch the sunset( there are so so many different beaches around and so close in case you get bored ) . There is also beach cafe ( walking distance again) Lula’s cafe with outdoor sitting area great food drinks and DJs playing fab music ( you can take your dog with you ) Lovely Liz (the owner) made sure we have everything we needed and told us about all amazing places nearby to visit. We have already visited twice and we would love to come again. I highly recommend this place. It was equally great to visit in August and in October. Thank you for unforgettable time and memories.

We had an incredible week in this beautiful little beach house – location is incredible – a few minutes walk from stunning Hayle beach with views of st Ives bay. Highly recommend- even if the weather isn’t great – there is loads to do in the area – I thank you Liz and Nick xx

Lovely cosy little chalet, was in a great situ of amenities and places to visit. The chalet was well accomondated with items you’d need, including the washing & cleaning products & bin bags. Liz is so friendly, and helpful. I found the internet was great for the 1st couple of nights but then went terrribly slow 🙁 I did see lots of dog walking areas for those who take their pets. (Though we didnt take ours with us) There’s a local shop just down the road, a 2 mile walk to Lidl if you’re feeling fit lol…. or a little further to Asda. In the chalet is a guide book & maps with places to visit, which is fab 🙂 We took the train ride to St.Ives as recommended in the book. This cost us around £7.00 for 3 tickets & (£4.50 park all day at the station) however, if you’re disabled there is free parking at the train station (parking at St.Ives we seen was difficult & costly, so well worth a stress free day) We visited the Flambards park twice (on a Mon & Wed is fireworks & entertainment) I’d recommend one of these nights & its only about 1/2 hour drive away. Then about 5 mins drive away is a tropical birds park, this was amazing and with a little cafe too. The 1st time we went to the beach I think we’d gone the long way round through all the chalets, must of taken us around 20mins to find the beach lol…… however I’d recommend going out to the main road and following that straight down which we did the 2nd visit. You will see there is a pub here serves food & a little cafe (we didnt get to try this as it was closed through the day 🙁 ) Great beach, beautifully clean if you follow this all the way round there is another cafe there too……this is defo an ideal place to stay for people who enjoy walking or is a water baby and loves surfing & other water sports.

Our reply / thoughts: Hi Franki, thank you so much for your great review and really helpful recommendations. I’m so glad you liked Rainbow’s location and the facilities we provide. As you say, it’s definitely a great place for those who enjoy walks on the stunning beach or who are water baby’s ❤ I’m so sorry you had difficulty finding the quickest way to the beach. I will put a better map into the welcome pack to help people – thank you for the heads up on this👍. It normally takes us about 7 minutes gentle stroll…but we pop down the lane through the chalets and dunes. I’m also sorry that the WiFi signal reduced while you were there. Your comments are really helpful – we’ve just found out that our provider (Wildanet) is installing a super powered “hub” very closeby (by October 2021). I must confess to not being very technical on this front, but my understanding is that it is going to provide us with super fast speeds and no “contention” issues… (which I think is possibly what effected you during your week?) Thank you for your helpful comments about this 👍 Thank you also for your helpful ideas to visit. I know we’re slightly biased, but the area does feel like a great area to visit. We very much look forward to welcoming you back in the future ❤
We just got back from our lovely stay at Rainbow Beach Chalet. Such a cosy chalet in a fantastic location. A very short walk to the beach, and what an amazing beach it is!!!! Chalet had everything we needed and loved the extra touches that they do with milk, tea, coffee, biscuits etc… Much needed after our long journey. Big thank you for a lovely holiday.
